These cookies were pretty tasty, but they did not reach the awesomeness of the Thomas Kellar Chocolate Chip Cookies. Actually, they were pretty darn good but as I just made the TK cookies again (bliss inducing, especially with coffee ice cream) the week prior… ๐
Thanks to Kait of Kaitโs Plate for hosting My Best Chocolate Chip Cookies as this week’s Tuesdays with Dorie selection. For the recipe visit her blog or buy the book.
I have got to try the TK cookies cuz I thought these were pretty awesome!
I loved the flavor of these but they were flat! UGH I guess I’ll have to try the TK’s!
They look super tasty Wendy.
I haven’t tried the TK recipe but it’s on my list… Dorie’s recipe wasn’t a favorite here – too thin and crispy – but your cookies look wonderful!
Every day I see the Ad Hoc Book, and remind myself to make those cookies.
Your version of Dorie’s cookies came out great!
Love the TK cookies. Yours look very tempting with the nuts and chocolate peeking out.
Well, I don’t know the TKCCC, so I’ll have to try them eventually… although I’m not on a quest to find the best. I’m like you though… I thought these were pretty anonymous.
Beautiful, plump, moist and all, but still anonymous.
I think they look delicious but it’s very hard to beat anything by Thomas Keller!
They do look wonderful, but I would be interested in trying TK’s. ๐
Your cookies look yummy, but you have me intrigued. Now I must try the TK cookies. ๐
I had NO idea Thomas Keller has his own chocolate chip cookie recipe. They look great, and are a definite must try..although I’m on a Jacques Torres CC cookie recipe ‘kick’ as of late. Great way to break out of it ๐
Ooh, I’ll have to try your other ones! These aren’t my fave, either. Yours are the thickest I’ve seen, though!
Your cookies look great! Everyone’s raving about the TK cookies so I guess I have to give them a try (if they’re thick and chewy).
YOur cookies look so good. It’s hard to stray away from a fav. recipe when we find it. I still think Toll house cookies are the best!!
I’ll have to try the Thomas Keller recipe. Sounds yummy. Your cookies look great.
Non-cookie related, I have to tell you I bought an iphone. I’ve always thought how cool it was that you blog with yours. I would think of you when I heard iphone and ice cream. ๐

those look pretty good to me!! i liked these a lot, but will have to do my own comp with the TK recipe!
I bookmarked the TK cookies after I read about them on your site! I still have yet to try them! These look delicious, too!
Your cookies look good. Are those walnuts peeking out of the cookie? Mine were flat. I will have to try the TK cookie recipe.
Well, now I’ve seen for like the third time today about how great the TK ccc’s are and I’m going to be forced to try them! ๐
Yours look like they didn’t spread as much as some. Yumm!
Another CCC to add to my quest. Thanks for making these – the look wonderful.
