This week I was in the mood for sandwiches for my workday lunches. As it was, the next bread up for me in the Bread Baker’s Apprentice Challenge was Light Wheat Bread–perfect for sandwiches.
When I first joined the BBA Challenge, I stayed on the weekly baking schedule. Then things happened and I joined the Slow & Steady Group. Then I got busy and I think I’m now so beyond the S&S time line that I’m baking a bread when the opportunity and time arises.
Looks tasty! What was the sweetner used?
I’m just as far behind as you… well, actually, now I’m behind you too, as light wheat is my next bread to bake! Looks good 🙂
Hey, I am in the S&S group, and I just posted this bread not too long ago…working up courage to do the marbled rye when I get back home to my kitchen. Your wheat bread looks great…and whatever is in it looks really great, want to share that information? Everyone here loved this bread…need to make it again, this time I think I am going to try it as dinner rolls.
I have to get my hands on that light wheat bread!
That is a gorgeous loaf of bread–love the light wheat.
What a beautiful loaf, Wendy. I’m trying to get more into bread baking these days too.
